First topic message reminder :

Folks,

A heads up for this years S'n'T, as has become the custom it'll be the last weekend in September, we have booked the bunkhouse here;

Good food, good beer and it's own waterfall (highest unbroken fall in England)

They also have B&B rooms for those that fancy it and camping for the brave amongst us (could be chilly in Sept!)

B&B is £40 pppn

For the bunkhouse its looking like £13 - £15 pppn or £16 - £20 with breakfast included.

We've booked the bunkhouse for as many people that want to come (I'm sure he said it can accommodate 50!) but if you would like one of the B&B rooms or camping etc. please get in touch with either me or terry lees and we'll deal with the landlord direct. I'm probably your best bet, by the time Terry has finished typing a reply we'll be booking for S'n'T 2013!

We may be able to organise some live music, there might be a BBQ, there will be some great roads and the usual apres-ride activities clink

Just spoke to Lee, and he's def. up for it, and staying both nights. Seans coming to, although his bike is uninsured, so he's going to do a backie with me, as long as my arm is'nt still in a sling otherwise he's on the back of you Chris.

All updated Terry, however it might be difficult to give Stocksy a backie with nae bike!

If the KTM sells and it comes to it I've decided I'll hire one from that place in Manchester, a VFR1200 os only £160 for the weekend great

Or £200 for a GTR1400 naughty

Trying to coax the brother-in-law into this one as he just brought a ZZR1100 with only 8,500miles on the clock to get back into biking.

So with hope Chris I will be up at least for the rideout and hopefully plus 1.

Hunts Honda rent bikes out and theres another place not far off the M62 that rents Kawasakis.

Attention all Surf'n'Turfers,

There is an option to have live music on the Sat night, I thought it might be nice to have a bit of entertainment on.
Likely to be blues/folk type thing (no norwegian death metal or funky house DJs) and would be no more than £10 per person.

Could I have a bit of feedback as to whether you would like me to organise a band and if you would be willing to contribute towards it?
I would like to get back to Mark in the next couple of weeks so there is time to get something booked so please send me your thoughts (regarding bands only) as soon as convenient.

Aye both of us thanks Chris, Terry has booked us a suite at the cost of a standard room due to the dragon at the pub! green smile

Not fussed on the music side of things mate purely on financial reasons (wedding & all that malarky draining funds etc) violin
