Surf & Turf 2022 - MASTER LIST & SIGN UP - Friday 30th Sep - Sunday 2nd Oct (Rideout Saturday 1st October)

Basing at Leyburn, Yorkshire.

Evening all,

I haven't organised any accommodation as there are so many options nearby for all tastes and budgets. If anyone needs any help, whatsapp me on 07801945261 and I'll point you in the right direction.

Plan is;

Friday 30th Sept 17:00 - Meet in or near Leyburn for something to eat and a few beers. Once I have a rough idea of numbers, I'll get a table booked somewhere.
Saturday 1st Oct 09:00 - Meet at Leyburn marketplace for rideout - Route tbd but I'm thinking Yorkshire Dales & Lake District if weather is fine.

Approx 250-275 miles.



Saturday Evening - Head to Middleham for a local Oktoberfest event, there are several pubs and a local brewery getting involved.



Sunday 2nd Oct - I'm heading up to Aberdeen for work. If the weather is fine, I'll perhaps take the bike.

Have you decided against camping Rob?

Would of camped if Linz and boy'o was going as she'd take the camping gear in the car, but as it's a beer festival on the evening on Saturday, boy'o won't be allowed.
So, just up on my own for the rideout.

I don't think the beer festival will be like a traditional beer festival with entry and tent etc. It's just a collective event between a few of the pubs in the village. Middleton has 4 pubs and they're all getting involved.

We just assumed that it wouldn't be ok to bring Ewan along to it. Think we have missed the chance of camping site availability now but will check again

Unfortunatley ill be back bobbing around in the water again so canny make this one..
