Sunday Meet (26 April)

Anybody free on Sunday 26 April for a quick cuppa, up (or down) here in Yorkshire?

Two GREAT venues have been discussed - either Squires (Sherburn in Elmet) or Seaways (Fridaythorpe) a few people are interested BUT we thought it better to open this up to all!

Motor Sport Fans will know theres a lot happening that weekend - Moto GP in Japan, Grand Prix in Bahrain and WRC in Argentina, so I'm sure a slice of cake will also be required to draw people away from the TV

Well as the 'we' in this is thee and me s'pose i'd best be there eh! and no Fi - it won't be some early hour - nige did say he'd pencilled it in and martyn said something about a boys night out before so not being able to make it until about 2.30 - fridaythorpe is a couple of hours plus from me anyway so not that early lol

I'm NOT a morning person either!!

So a time to suit all (well as many as possible) will be agreed, just need to see who's interested.

We could do Fridaythorpe 1st and then Sherburn if that is easier for those travelling some distance (it's just off the A1) and then can split North & South (East or West) - Just a thought!?!

nige not sure if he can make it now - i've got to text martin (trafman) and he is going to meet me at the roundabout somewhere near humber bridge i think he said - so i'm thinking maybe i'll arrange to meet him at about 1230 now all i have to do is confirm that with him - think there was some bikesafe event on or something - then work back from there as to how long it'll take me to get to him so i know what time i'm leaving and if he is coming up to fridaythorpe too (and even if he isn't) it doesn't matter whether i'm there before everyone else or not (not that i'll be on my own anyway come to think of it as ellie and poss neil will be with me although Neil's mate is going to Deeping with some Hardly event and i think he was abandoning me to go there first!) i'll just drink the coffee urn dry.

So .... we're going with Fridaythorpe for the time being are we? ... and it's not the cafe in the woods its the other one?
