Seaways.. Sunday 25th April 2010

Post by Ezzy's Mum! on Sun Apr 11, 2010 6:46 pm

Some of you may remember Nick (Yorkshire thundercat) organised a meet at Seaways last year - Fi and I have decided to meet there again this year (weather permitting) on the same weekend to remember Nick (and have a bacon butty no doubt green smile ).
We'll be there about 1pm if anyone else fancies meeting up there for a cuppa and a chinwag (and a photo opportunity! see how many thundercats we can get there this year).

I'll be riding down in the morning - so setting off from here at about 8am (well it's a long way!!) if anyone fancies joining me on the way down. Haven't decided my route yet, but it won't be too far off the beaten track as it's far enough without going on mega detours for me.

Fab idea Suzie & Fi,

We'll try (especially hard) to make this one too.

You thinking of a short ride around the area too, in memory, or just the meet & a butty ?

cheers
Tel

No just the butty Tel, a) i don't know the area b) its take me this long to realise i'm not good in groups and rather than p!ss anyone off by holding them up i'll leave that to the grown ups c) think Fi will be glad to have an hour off the bike Very Happy but don't let that stop any of the rest of you

Good call, I'm up for this. If anyone fancies meeting up at Sherburn for the ride over then let me know and we can make a morning of it?

If I hadn't been away last weekend (Wee Mac) and away from home all this week on a training course then I might have had a chance of coming along. I would have liked to.

I'd never met Nick but he was an quite active member of this site.

I hope the weather is kind, the bacon butties are tasty and everyone journeys are safe and enjoyable.

Cheers
