Erskine Bike Meet - Sunday 29th May 2011

Post by frazmcfraggle on Sun May 22, 2011 1:16 pm

Just wondering if any of you guys are taking a run down to the bike meet at Erskine next Sunday - fiver each on the day.

Myself and the Cat should be there all things being equal, may even go for a wee play down to Largs or up Loch Lomondside in the morning before heading here if anyone fancies it.

Give me a wee shout - Anyway link to the flyer is here

Hi Fraz

I might manage this.
Will try and wangle some brownie points between now and then.

Cheers

Mine went last year, never heard anyone else with the problem till now - at least the part isn't expensive

Steve - both pins/ lugs that do the driving were sheared off and the lugs which are driven by the wheel were well worn down to about half their width, which I suppose then contributed to the shearing.
Is your speedo drive all metal? I did buy a new/ scrap one in error (i.e. before I had stripped the wheel down to see what the problem was) and it was all nylon inside and the one on my Cat is all metal.

Fraz -sorry to high-jack your thread mate.

Enjoy the run....hope the weather is nice.

If you see a good looking lady (not built for ballet) in her forties with red/brown hair collecting money then say Hello to Barbara from me please.

Well considering the weather a decent turnout, saw a couple of Thunderaces but not other Cats at the time when I took a walk round. Hope the guys made a few quid for the home anyway .....
