Spada Boots

Post by stevemcc on Sat Jan 28, 2012 9:46 pm

Has anyone had any experience with Spada Gear?
I'm thinking about buying a pair of these, I think they look pretty smart and are meant to be good when it come to keeping the water out.
LOOKY
I'm currently using military issue Pro-boots which are Gore-Tex and Thinsulate lined, but if anything they are too hot and my feet will cook when the milder weather comes in.
I'm looking at spending about £100 on a pair and these are some of the best looking i've seen.
Any views / suggestions welcome

Nice looking set of boots. Almost look like SIDI Black rain (which are very good but £50 more).
The proof will be in the wearing and comfort though.
Sorry can't help with a review of these ones.

I've got Spada leathers, now three years old & only a minor issue with some stitching early on which I sorted myself, they have been very good value so hopefully the boots will be similar ponder

I guess i really need to find a stockist to try them on and check the fit.
So bloody inconsiderate of George Whites to shut down, I'll have to travel miles now for a bargain.
A bit off topic but does anyone know of any bike shops in the Gosport area as I'm down there tomorrow for a couple of hrs.

I've had a couple of pairs of Spada pants in the past from Mike Wheelers in Witney. But it's quite a small shop, so the stock will be limited.

I would recommend going for the ST1, I bought a pair of the Predator ones but the sole only lasted a few months and because they are plastic couldn't be resoled. The ST1 have a rubber sole and are a much better boot
