Us northern will be attending, Bob has booked us into the place in Dolgellau that we stayed in last year, he reckons its only about 5 miles from where you lot are staying. So far there are 5 of us. Look forward to seeing you all then.

Sadly due to my current work situation I’m now not going to be able to attend which I am totally gutted about.

Nick has always done a cracking top notch job in running BC and I am sure this year will be no different.

Did my faceybook mention remind you? Either way gutted you can't make it pal, this is becoming an unwelcome habit. We will have to arrange something in the coming months to get together perhaps somewhere in the middle.

Haha sadly not Steve, it is rather annoying as everything was set for this one for me but due to the job situation it’s an expense I can’t justify but should things change then I will try for ToL if that’s on later this year and certainly up for a meet in the middle once I’m back up and on two wheels properly!

You just need to phone the hotel Owen, Nick has block booked a few rooms on a first come first served basis but you need to check with them direct and Nick is away at the moment. Just quote his name and Thundercat weekend to get special rate.

From a drunken wee Mac conversation I think we (Fatcat, GillyBaby and myself) agreed to meet up enroute to Wales so I'm sure we could try and meet up with team auld yin too.

Yeah, I remember a similar drunken conversation Ross, so it must have happened...maybe!  Think we were going to meet up at Sanquhar on the A76 but can't remember if we set a particular time.

I was warned about getting that award before leaving home

Think I've got my route there sorted, having done all 10, I have a few routes on which to fall back on. First half is un-inspiring, mainly motorway, but I need my 'Monmouth Hill' fix, think I'm in for 280 miles. Should be there just after 5, leaving 9:30. More than enough time to take in the lake views,
