Old friend in for a make over

Awaiting it's transformation
After 17 years loyal service and with virtually 50,000km on the clock the ever faithful Thundercat is getting a makeover! Hagon rear shock, stainless steel down pipes, new chain and sprocket kit, braided front brake lines and some other bits and bobs. I will be interesting to see what the old thing will be like to ride with functioning suspension!! I have got rather used to it wobbling ways!

Re: Old friend in for a make over
Notice Ross that people do treat there bikes to new parts to freshen things up when after a fair few years of service, give them that little extra tlc.
Keep them clean and tidy looking too. Share a thought for there steed and have a garage do some work on it so there's no need to get your own spanner's dirty.
I remember your BOS1.
What's the longest time have folk on here, that they have kept a bike for?

Good on ya tony, will be interested to hear how it alters the ride, is it on the original rubber brake hoses?
