air box issue

Hi all after having the cat for almost a year now i decided to open up the air box to see which air filter had been fitted by the previous owner and have found styrofoam pieces in the air box under the filter is this normal or has some little brat been stuffing the ram air feed while parked up

Shouldn't be any styrofoam, sounds like your cat's been naughty and been munching on take-away boxes

When you say under the filter, I hope that is the upper side and not the carb side.

No it not carb side I will remove that then when new filter comes
