new bike coming
First topic message reminder :
Didn't really know where to post this, so took the plunge and posted it here. Got quite a good price for the Honda CBF1000 GT, so its gone, ordered a new machine for delivery next Feb. Chris Eddie and a couple of others know what it is, but might surprise a few more when they see it.

Re: new bike coming
It might have been an option, with a low seat, really like the spec tho. But shaft drive is an imperative you are so hot you're almost on fire. come on Tel you're almost there.

Re: new bike coming
Nice try Tel but not quite, I think people will be a little bored with this by now, so I had better own up. Need to wash my mouth out before declaring, as I am on record saying I will never own a BMW. But dammit I have ordered R1200 RS in lupine blue/white. Tel would you do the honour's and post up some nice piccies. Thanks.

Re: new bike coming
Carrying on with the theme of change, my plan, just like Terry, was to wait until February. But with time on my hands over Christmas, a few sherberts to speed the bidding I dabbled on ebay. (All with the consent of the person who holds the purse strings)
So here she is, my late Christmas prezzie to me.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
She is a 57 plate Fazer Fz1S with 18,600 on the clock.
A little dirtier than when I first saw her on Sunday but a great ride to work so far. Plus she came with a full set of Givi luggage.
The cat is a little forlorn at the back of the garage but will hopefully be off to a new home in the near future. If I get my ass in gear.
Right, now to sort out my 2016 travels.

Re: new bike coming
Congratulations - she'll be lovely when she's clean
Santa brought me a nice set of panniers in a deal from a Spanish company. Then Gill got wind of it and gave me her stern face till I ordered her a set too...

Re: new bike coming
Now then rich how u doing? Now it's nice you have a new bike but another member getting rid of the cat, I think we should make a rule moving forward that you can get a new bike or even have as many bikes as you can afford, but you must keep the cat. Haha.
Seriously mate hope you enjoy the new beast.

Paul, don't you think I tried.
But we all haven't got a garage as big as Rosco's or an accommodating wifey!
