Hi Warren

Welcome to the forum, great choice of bike, I'm sure you'll be very happy with it. Ref the insurance is it an age thing or a no claims bonus anniversary thing? Either way insurance is a racket pal.

Best of luck anyway

Cheers

Steve

Hi Steve, thanks for the welcome!

I'm currently on my little cb500 and need to wait for my no claims ideally, my current insurance company won't touch me with a barge pole... so i can't transfer the policy unfortunately. Hoping the prices don't change much elsewhere in the meantime tongue

Hi Warren

Welcome aboard.

Shop around as much as you can to get a good deal on your insurance as I'm guessing there will be everywhere from expensive to ridiculous prices at an age where statistics go against you :(
Fingers crossed you can get a good deal.

Might be worth a look HERE

Cheers

Welcome to the forum Warren.

My bike used to look like yours but with white wheels. Nice colour choice and good choice of bike but remember, although a very forgiving bike, treat her with respect and she'll return the favour with a big grin

Hello, Warren.

welcome1 to the forum.

Use as many insurance search engines as possible and don't give up. Sometimes just searching at a different time of day can turn up a cheaper quote, depending on whether a certain company has reached their sales target for that day.

Thank for all the replys everyone, seems a really friendly forum Smile
I've tried at a few different sites now, and the cheapest I've found is either £840 when I have my 1 years ncb or £1010 without the no claims (both tpft) which might sound like a lot, but it's surprisingly cheap when compared with other bikes on it's class Smile
If any one know of anybody after a cb500 towards the end of the year, let me know tongue

Have a look at this I posted earlier, you get a quote, they're generally not bad plus they'll send you a free Oxford Tool Kit for your trouble.

Nice one!
I'm going to have to wait for my no claims I think, just to get a decent online quote first Smile

Sometimes getting fully comp quote can be similar or even cheaper in some cases.

Worth ticking the box to see what happens.
