Hi all, I am a good friend of Gail "thecatlass" Richards and I am with the help of the Manor Cafe, Bikerfm arranging a Memerial Day for Gail.

We are arranging a weekend of bikes and laughter in memory of Gail "thecatlass" on July 13th at the Manor Cafe located just outside Bellerby, near Leyburn and Hawes on the A6108

The cafe is open from 9am to 8pm and we will be officially starting the day at approximately 12pm going on until late with overnight camping on hand at £3 per head! (Gail loved a bargain!)

We will be playing Gail's Bikerfm road racing radio shows through-out the day so if you have a favourite interview or feature then let me know and we'll make sure its featured along with her favourite music, bloopers and as many best bits as possible! There might well be a couple of well known road racers present so watch this space for further updates!

We will be arranging a ride out in Gail's honour to one of her favourite bike meet locations and giving her a great biker send off.

If anyone has any questions then please contact myself either on this post or by private message if you so wish

If anyone is aware of any other forums Gail was active on then please feel free to copy this post there to get the message out as far and wide as possible as Gail "thecatlass" Richards was such a big part of the road racing community and a true biker so lets give her the best send off we possibly can surrounded by as many of her beloved biker family & friends as possible!

Don't forget to bring your memories of "thecatlass" with you and also for those staying over your favourite drinks......Brandy & Coke is optional! ;o)

Hi all. It's nearly here! Gail has being doing her Sun Dance for us all and it's going to be nice and warm next weekend to!
The sound system is hired, the iPods loaded with Gails music and some of her shows, Kath from the Manor Cafe has ordered extra food and tea and coffee and the racers that Gail so loved and respected have donated prizes for the charity auction :o)
So all you need is you, the transport or a mate to get you there, a bit of money in your pocket fit a brew and the auction if you so wish and a tent and a few beers/wine/brandy to chill with overnight if you're staying over.
There's a ride out planned to Hawes and Deviks Bridge if you wish to join it and hopefully a big group of like minded supporters and friends of Gails to all give her the best send off we can...thecatlass would have loved it :o)
