Seat Cowl (possible supplier)
Ok so I've ordered a Fairing set from Ebay (from China) and this company also make seat cowls for most bikes apart from the Thundercat..... So I messaged them asking if they could produce them and their reply was yes, I'm waiting for a price from them but I think If those interested placed a bulk order it might work out pretty cheap. So just wondered if anyone else is interested and how much would you be willing to pay?
I'm going to ask them to send me one to try but it might take to arrive etc I'll post pics and more details as and when it arrives.
Thanks for reading

Re: Seat Cowl (possible supplier)
I would be interested. As for the cost i havent got a clue depends if they came painted or not. If they could produce rear huggers with chain guards incorporated that would be awesome. Especially if they can do carbon

Re: Seat Cowl (possible supplier)
Seat cowl and rear huggers are two different things J.
Kev's on about the pillion seat cover.

Re: Seat Cowl (possible supplier)
I know there different I meant if they can produce rear seat cowls maybe they could produce rear huggers as these don't come with the fairing kits

Re: Seat Cowl (possible supplier)
I would be interested in a cowl if the quality is o.k. Fairings cost is reasonable, so if they could come around £50 or less it could be a bargain. Keep us informed please.

Re: Seat Cowl (possible supplier)
Intobikes - £77 BFP or £108.55 in various colours
FastBikeBits - £89.99 in BFP, white or carbon look
Pyramid Plastics £108.55 any colour
You can always keep checking on eBay as the come up quite often but there's none on at the moment.
Alternatively you could read the thread and see that Cheshirecat is trying to gauge opinion on how many people might want one as he may be able to get a good price for a bulk purchase.
Black and white, I do hope this is plain enough or do can I do anything else?
Oh and by the way this
is called The Googles and its where I, and most other people do their research!!

Re: Seat Cowl (possible supplier)
Does anyone actually have one of these aftermarket cowls or had one previously?
No I dont want to buy it from them!! but I would be interested in the fit and how it fits, especially the fwd edge.

Re: Seat Cowl (possible supplier)
I have one on mine, fits nice although the guy who put in on used screws through the seat I think,
The pic on the right )))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
in my avatar shows my bike with the cowl on, personally I think it looks the BIZ, huge improvement to any Cat, but then it is my bike and mine is the best, as everyone would probably agree they feel their bike is the best lol
Get one anyway, if you dont like it, someone will buy it off you
Hope this answers a bit of your question

Re: Seat Cowl (possible supplier)
i got one from pyramid plastics the cowl fitted well, the only thing that let it down was the brackets that screw in underneath the seat were not quite bent to the right shape. Nothing a big old hammer wouldn't sort out

Re: Seat Cowl (possible supplier)
Thanks for the links guys
The powerbronze cowl seems reasonable at £60.
although I would have to get it colour matched to the red of the fairings. Anyone take a guess at how much this may cost?
