Hi all!

Selling my Thundercat. It's sad but true

Not being used enough to warrant having it, as I'm in my final year of university at the moment and don't ride it to Bristol! Well looked after bike, never ridden in the rain. Low mileage and tons of added extras. Posted at £1650 but offers are welcome. Valued with all the extras!! Gumtree ad posted for a few pictures, if you would like more I can send some! Description is:


Yamaha Thundercat 600R in great condition. Only 24000 miles on the clock and long tax/ MOT. Engine runs beautifully and starts on the button first time.

Bike has had recent chain and sprockets change as well as a new battery installed.

Fitted with a scottoiler, datatags, datatool alarm and immobiliser. Also includes black double bubble screen and screen bolts, with 'racing' seat, and a Beowulf Warrior exhaust with stainless steel downpipes.

Also included in this sale are the original screen, black tail fairing with pillion handle blanks (as pictured), and the original exhaust.

24k its low milage?
1997 for over 1500? Is that cheap?

24k is low mileage. That would be less than 2.5k per year which isn't much riding!

Over 1500 isn't too cheap no. I have only put it up at that much because of the extras (stainless headers and exhaust, alarm etc etc)

I am obviously open to all offers :o

i gat 1998 for 900£ with milage arount 18k the last one i did have was 2000 and milage was arount 14k payd 1400£ couse it was in amazing condition. sorry thats why i ask.

No problem, those are very good milages! I based mine on looking around. In the South East I'd expect mine to go for about £1200. But I figured I'd throw all the extras in as well and then see what I can get.

I think values are firming now on the T cat, hope the sale goes well.

Got mine for £1200 in Feb with a bit of haggling, slightly less miles but yours looks in better condition. So you're pretty much in the ballpark with the bike and accessories (TomCom's up in Scotland, slightly lower prices up there).
