Thundercat for sale (bit of a project)
Hullo
Anna (nanabanana) has decided to sell her cat sadly, just decided that the bike isnt really for her.
This bike has a restrictor kit fitted, i assume that this can be easily removed though for anyone on a full license.
Now I will say from the outset that this bike has been dropped a few times causing cosmetic damage, thus making it a abit of a project, but would allow you to possibly make it your own.
There is also a slight issue with the TPS, it has been knocked in one of the drops and needs looking at / replacing (not sure if it can be re jigged to work again) if not at worst its buying a new set of carbs of fleebay dirt cheap and taking the sensor off those, or if your feeling flash calling up mr Yamaha.
I have tried to be as honest as possible about all of this so anyone interested knows exactly what they are getting with the bike, in general running terms the bike is good and is a lovely bike to ride.
Its an R reg with 37.370 ish miles on it, taxed until 31st Dec 2012 with its MOT running until mid april 2013 (though I will get an exact date off anna when she returns my calls!) and it will be serviced in the next few weeks.
Tyres are looking ok for now but will need replacing soon.
The bike also has a few extras :
- Beowulf Can
- LED rear light with built in indicators
- front flush mounted indicators
- heated grips
- black double bubble screen
- renthal sprocket
- red painted wheels
- 3 seats, 1 normal, 1 lower gel seat, 1 normal seat with pillion seat cover in black.
Below are some piccys of the bike showing it in general and highlighting the damage to the bike.

As I said at the top I am being as truthful as possible with all of this.
the bike is priced at the £1150 mark
The bike is based in Banbury oxfordshire, if anyone has any questions please PM on here and i'll happily get back to you with any answers for questions you may have/ put you in contact with anna.
Going to leave the bike advertised on here for a while first but it may also go onto bike trader/mcn/fleebay
Thanks
Dave

Not for the time being sadly, I think Anna is going to give the bikes a break and maybe come back to them in a few years time

Re: Thundercat for sale (bit of a project)
Really sad that Anna's not sticking with it, her kind words helped me when I was learning and it's a shame as she seemed to really enjoy the ride out at BC and her confidence was growing.
At the end of the day though if it's not for her then there's nothing more to be said. Hope she comes round to them again one day
I was just wondering Dave is there any chance she might be willing to sell the single seat cowl separately? I've been looking for one for a while and as there's a possibility that I may get another bike in a few months I'm loathed to by a new one from Pyramid.
Thanks
Steve

Re: Thundercat for sale (bit of a project)
Hi Steve,
The seat cowl from what I understand is properly attached /stuck onto one of the seat, I am sure we could just sell you the seat with cowl and then you can do as you wish with it.
I will have a look at it when I can and see of we can prise it off the seat.
Will let you know
Thanks
Dave

Re: Thundercat for sale (bit of a project)
Sorry to hear that Anna is giving biking a break, I too thought she did well on BC4 under some pretty difficult circumstances.
Anyway good look with the sale and I hope she makes a return to the fold sooner rather than later
