1999 Thundercat
Hi Guys
Right i have decided to sell my cat after all
I am picking my fireblade up on sunday
I am in no rush to sell the bike
Its 1999 on a V plate
33,000 and Mot`ed till next july and taxed till march
DID Gold chain and sprockets on it
Tinted Double bubble screen
Comes with rack and coloured coded top box and a standard screen
Datatagged as well
2 keys and a recent new battery
Oil and filter changed just before the spring started
Also has a K&N Air filter
Ideally i want 1 million pounds for it but i aint that lucky lol
So i am looking about £1450 for it
Will consider sensible offers if anyone is interested
Here is my mobile 07702108062 or carl.davies1@ntlworld.com

Re: 1999 Thundercat
It's that time of the year I'm afraid, have a look at sold items on eBay and it may be worth a punt on there, they are selling for okay money so worth a look.
Let me know how you get on with the blade. I'm currently looking for one myself (fixer upper) with a view to getting to work On it over the winter and then getting on it next spring.
Which model yr you getting?

Re: 1999 Thundercat
I agree it's a bargain it's just as I said earlier not the best time to be selling. I'm sure it means you got a great deal on the blade though, good luck

Re: 1999 Thundercat
Nice one, hoping to do a deal on my own blade very soon but will be looking to trade it in. I've had my eye on, and test rode an 03 about 6 weeks ago but at the time felt it was overpriced and I didn't readily have access to the funds. Anyway it still hasn't sold and I'm imminently awaiting a bonus payment from work and will be making a cheeky offer if its still there.
A dangerous game as I could miss out but I just haven't got the funds at the moment, so fingers are crossed!!

Re: 1999 Thundercat
Umm
ill be honest and i know this sounds daft but i had a go on it for the 1st time today in my street and i was riding it with a smile on my face
I am very happy with it but i will be honest i miss the thundercat seat already as i found the seat on my fireblade very uncomfortable, bit concerned as im going to italy on it next year
I was emotional as hell watching that ride off, see someone else on my bike
But needs must im sure it will be loved like i did

Re: 1999 Thundercat
Yeah it was a poignant moment dropping mine off. As for the seat yeah I rode mine back from Leeds (about 40 miles) and it seemed not too bad at the time but felt it a bit the next day.
It's horses for courses and I'm sure we'll get used to it.
The riding position a bit more extreme too but we did Assen last year, 3 on blades and no complaints
