Hello from Nottingham!
First topic message reminder :
Hello
Well i only saw the bike today for the first time, test rode it (having never tried one before) and paid for it there and then!! Nice piece of kit tho i say so my self. My main ride is a 2010 Triumph speed triple but i fancied something with a fairing to keep it company. My "new" bike is a Red 2000 model with 6600 miles on the clock, i'm the third owner and as i said, i'm really impressed. The bike was laid up for four years by its owner of 8 years, so i think i'll need to balance the carbs when i get it back home (next week as my insurers closed 30 mins before i saw the bike ). Prior to the Speed triple i had a ST Pan European and before that a Blackbird. Looking at the website it seems that there is a wealth of knowledge that i'll be looking to tap into. Cheers guys.

Hello from Nottingham Pt2
Guys,
I couldn't help it but I had to change my name on this website. Formerly known here as stevie_s, I couldn't beleive that i missed a trick buying a cat and not picking a name to suit! So, after retiring from the RN after 32 years, Seacat seems more appropriate (after the old missile and not the ferry)!! Sorry for the change but i tried to modify my name without deleting the account but it did'nt work. I look forward to carrying on the visits to the website and maybe even joining up on a rideout!!!!

Re: Hello from Nottingham!
Hi Steve (I'm taking a stab at the name!),
Welcome back! So soon Sea, once folk have experienced this site they just can't stay away.
Also missed welcoming your alter-ego. Frankly, didn't get time! Still, hope you enjoy the site and all we have to offer. Notts is not that far from Lincs so hopefully you'll pop up sometime and experience the roads up here. ToL in August and a day trip to Scarborough on the Jubilee weekend are already planned.
Seacat eh? Great big lumbering behemoth full of hot air. Thanks for the clarification!
Cheers,
Chris

So as to avoid more confusion I've merged the two welcome threads together.

And instantly confused the matter by merging Seacat to Guest instead of the otherway RoundSteveCat wrote:So as to avoid more confusion I've merged the two welcome threads together.
Re: Hello from Nottingham!
Arrgh was going to do it the other way around ...
Then it dawned on me as the merge is date based, the first post was always going to be guest so rather went for the title!! Small consolation, didn't lose any posts this time
If there is ever only one way to do something, you can be guaranteed I'll manage to do it the wrong way
