My new smoked indicator lenses arrived today

Post  Wooster on Mon Jul 04 2011, 16:47

Something tells me I've been shipped the wrong kit..Wink

...That's what I get for buying from the Dutch, probably stoned out of their coupons when they started throwing stuff into boxes. tongue

(They're footpeg mounts for a Ducatti Streetfighter, so they didn't even manage to get the right bike Laughing )
What annoys me is that they were pretty expensive @ 64 Euro anyway, and now it looks like I might get humped with an extra shipping charge to send these things back. Neutral

Laughing Aye, more than likely.
If they give me his/her address it might be cheaper to just swap via post. Wink

p.s. They were packed in Japanese newspaper as well, so this order has taken a really international flavour. Very Happy

(No, I can't read Japanese...I sleuthed it by looking at the weather forecast on page が) green smile

When you send them back maybe you should wrap them in German paper so they can learn efficiency!!!

They'll be going back in a jiffy bag, it's not like they're fragile.....

......in saying that, they're off a Ducati. Probably made out of quails eggs, or something. Wink

This mob have gone awfully quiet in the last few days and not responding to my emails.
I'll give them another 24 hours then start going through the motions with PayPal. :?

**Update**

Had to open a PayPal dispute since OEMMOTORPARTS have gone quiet.

Here's a tip: PayPal logs you out after a couple of minutes, so save any comments it might have taken you half an hour to type out and paste them into a text document. If you don't then PayPal bins everything you spent so long typing up when you have to log in again.

(When this is sorted, the PayPal account is getting binned and I'll be buying a prepaid credit card.)

Just an update.

PayPal have come through on the dispute, so I've decided not to bin them:
We have concluded our investigation into your case and have decided in your
favour.

We were able to recover 64.42 EUR, and this amount has been credited to
you. Please allow five working days for this adjustment to be posted.

Someone else has contacted me in a flap about their PayPal account.

I found that Oemmotorparts are a reseller, which is common these days.
They do have certain standards (allegedly), but this bloke seems to be completely unaware of the previous emails that have been sent.

Still, it ain't my problem now. Wink
