Always nice to read good reports about a bike you own, they have got quite a few good reviews in various poles recently.

Good ol' T-Cat
I do notice the Cat is creeping onto more and more lists lately as 'best this' and 'most versatile that'. MCN has a huge h**d-on for the Cat, and who can blame them?

Re: Top 5 comfy sports bikes
Well the Cat is a Fab bike , just recently I bought a new bike to replace it , but frankly the new bike is pants and I'm going to sell it and keep the Cat , that's how good the Cat is !

Aluminium Deltabox frame? Detuned R6 motor? Are they talking about the same bike?

Huh?! I have just re-read the "best comfy bike" and the "£1,500 sports bike challenge" articles and neither mention these points - what did I miss?

Re: Top 5 comfy sports bikes
On MCN'S review of the Cat - the specifications - it mentions about the Aluminium Deltabox type. Also I have read somehwere else that it is a detuned R6 , but I can't remember where.weasley wrote:bobh wrote:Aluminium Deltabox frame? Detuned R6 motor? Are they talking about the same bike?

Why have you written to them ? Is the description not accurate ?weasley wrote:Ah yes - just seen the online review. I've written to them about it!

Re: Top 5 comfy sports bikes
No. The Cat has a steel Deltabox frame and the engine has nothing to do with the R6 one, being an evolution of the FZR 600.

Correct
The above statement is correct, although I did lash eyes an an R6 on Friday. Apart from the fairing it is remarkable how similar they are in look and dimension.
