BIG MAC VII 2010 - SIGN UP - Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd

Hi All

Can you please show your interest in Big Mac here please?
We are currently looking in to accommodation and will get a block booking if the numbers are sufficient

When I last checked the Braemar Hostel had the following free
Private Rooms of EIGHT, FIVE, FOUR, FOUR and a TWIN

Lots of Communal Rooms (some female only)

e.g.

Rosco (and my beeatch for the weekend "BravePill" )

Braemar Hostel - Staying FRI, SAT, SUN nights - Happy to share large private group room with rest of our group

I have to be honest and say that when I have had a few beers there may be a case for me being a slight snorer..... Perhaps... In a small way...

I don't believe it myself but I have been told in the past that it is the case so I'll put my hand up. Unless of course it's a booze free weekend in which case no probs at all!

I have witnessed at 1st. hand dbdaves decibels, but little can compare to Christians output when fully loaded with grape @ grain. Everyone should consider themselves fortunate that he is not staying in the hostel, but at a local b&b with yours truly, {I know I'm a masachistic pillock}but he would have kept the whole house awake. Its rumoured that a few years ago after a particularly heavy night on the town that Mamoths deep in the Siberian tundra were roused. [Thats roused Ross not aroused] A few years ago he woke in the middle of the night shaking, I asked what was the matter, he said his own snoring must have awoken him and it had frightened him! Nuff said. TERRY

"Jallen" is looking to join us on Big Mac but only requires accomodation for the Saturday night.

Rather than take up a space for one night in a three-night room Joe and I agreed that he will take this only if no-one else requires it for all three nights.

Don't worry, Joe is keen to come along if this space is used and has access to alternative accomodation.

Just over a month to go....Woo hoo!

Will try and get a try-out soon.....Will post up a date or possibly dates and if anyone wants to try some or all of it out with me then feel free.

I had been hoping to come after all but until i know whether Ezz will be written off or not I now, once again, can't say so suppose i'm back to saying i won't be there - still got my annual leave on hold at work and my toes and fingers crossed for my beautiful bike!

OK Ross is there still room at the inn for a little one? if it's not me and Ezz it'll be me and Schnarff

Rosco, Just checking with the boss to see if she can cope without me for 4 days. Then checking with the local TCats to see how when they are travelling up 7 down. Will let you know sooner rather than later. There's room at the hostel still. I check last nite.

Pass out signed and in hand. I'm in.

I'll be travelling up the Friday and back down Monday.

Two questions though.
1. Do I need to book the room myself, which I can do tomorrow.

2. Is anyone else travelling up on the Friday from Lincs or down south. Maybe meet and enjoy each others company. Otherwise I'm off up through the winding roads, through northumberland, rather than the A1 route. With only yodas force to guide me.

Sorry I'm heading up on Thursday, can't help on the return leg either. Try and do the windy roads if you can, I can't think of a more mind numbing road than the A1.

I've got Mr & Mrs Krusty and Stevecat staying over at mine on the Thursday night and we will be heading up there about 2pm to meander up there for 5pm checkin

You are welcome to make your way here (Shotts) enroute for lunch / coffee.
This invitation is open to the rest of the southern posse too.

I can't compete with WildKatWolf's Banoffee Pie though :(
