First topic message reminder :

So finally got started on the paint job for the white and black kitty. Have only sprayed the seat hump as would like opinion on colour. The red stripe in the middle I was thinking of spraying black. It is all sprayed no stickers. I know there is a slight flaw on one of the gold stripes but that will just be a touch up when i sprayed the middle stripe. Its not finished still have gold fleck lacquer to go over the top but thought would get opions before lol.

hmmm not sure about the cap. Not liking the red ring or the black handle, but hey, that's just me.

Tank looks amazing, have you tried the rest of the bike yet? I'm interested to see what the front looks like with them stripes?

Tank was a spare, just spraying the front and rear guards, air intake pipe covers and the two covers that go under where the wing mirrors are. Then booking few weeks off work to strip down, send frame and swingarm off to be powdercoated and finish spraying the rest of the bike. Will keep posting pics as I move on with it. Mr France yes I'm not sure about the red centre either but the black handle was to sit inline.e with the centre stile to sort of bring it together

Ok, taster for you. This is the front end finished. Just got to compound and polish side and tail then all back together. Opinions please.

That engine looks the nuts!! Too nice to be in a fully faired bike lol don't suppose you fancy street-fightering it now haha

Not a chance lol spent too long doing it up, shame to cover it up but at least I know it looks good underneath.

Excellent work on the engine, looks fantastic. Looking forward to the fully finished pictures.

Paint all finished at last, just need to do frame and swing arm, brake lines, wheels, rearsets and passenger pegs and hangers and finally the seat and then is complete. Not sure if you can see but have already painted the fork bottoms black when I rebuilt them earlier this week.

I've always liked the stripes but thought I would "jazz " them up a bit.

It's all practice for when I get my spraying business up and running Paul's Custom Colours. I have another cat that I'm going to repray and am taking suggestions for colours and design ideas. It's going to be an advertising bike with the company name airbrushed on the side fairings but not sure whether to do all one colour or different styles, designs and paint (gloss, metallic, pearl, matt etc) on the rest of the panels. Input for this is much appreciated.

Are you jazzing up the indicators too or is it hand signals from now on?

You know, I wasn't sure myself. (I had to check)
It wasn't that far back, but it did take a while and the moment may have passed...but that's just my opinion, and the sides really are minted.  

It also looks like a quality job, regardless of any personal preferences I might harbour.

Indicators are now in the mirrors, I'll post a pic of them also the rear have been changed to small but IN YOUR FACE bright lol.

Thanks wooster, it has taken a while but as I have to do bits then put it back together it is a right pain. Wont have the same problem with the second one though

Ok, so here are the indicators. Front were cheap chinese onse £26 I think where as the rear were £48
