Wanted: Cheap and cheerful 125cc learner legal

Anyone have an old 125cc lying around they wanna offload?
Looking to pick one up for my son to pootle around on until he passes his test.
Not too bothered about cosmetic condition as long as it's roadworthy..

Theres is a lot of Chinese bikes , l and s imports or learnerlegal.com pick up a brand new import for £850 , try stay away from Sanya sy 125s as there not being imported and very hard to get parts, I just found that out after buying one for my little bro , he had it 6 hours done 45 miles and slid out going round a roundabout , need a new brake pedal but can only get one from a breakers

Way too expensive Davie. Insurance would be a killer too.
I'm only looking for something at a few hundred quid to get him some road experience before his test. Then I'll get the thundercat restricted for him. Cheers anyway.

I'm keeping that link away from Pam, Davie. She saw one in Mr Yamaha a few years ago and liked it very much. 'If only I was 10 years younger' she said ' I'd have let you buy it for me like a shot'.
