Touring screen recommendations Empty Touring screen recommendations

Post  ThunderG Thu Aug 23 2012, 20:09

I find that on motorway journeys my head gets a buffeting which gives me a sore shoulder and can be tiring so I'm considering a new screen. The question is double-bubble or touring type screen? Does anyone have any recommendations?

Any advice gratefully received.

both are better than standard but first could it be that you haven't done enough miles regularly to strengthen the muscles in your neck? If you do put lots of mileage on then I like a double bubble rather than a tall screen. Turning a Thundercat to a touring machine looks odd to me...but taste is a personal thing

Never had a touring screen, but double bubble seems to work well. Screens not hard to change either.

TBH I don't do large miles regularly these days - just from time to time but it never used to affect me....must be getting old!

Looks like double bubble is the way to go. TBH I was leaning that way anyway but just thought I'd check with you good folks. left thumb up
