Chuffin' 'eck it's cold!

Currently sat in Warwick services on the M40 thawing out. Have to ride my bike from a mate's near Burton-on-Trent to home in Reading.

I'm not an all-season rider so not really equipped for this! Nice to be on the bike again though; it's performing faultlessly after a 3 month lay-up.

It's freezing!!! Ride carefully Paul.

tis very cold, was out over the weekend, carefully going round corners, I would highly recommend good merino wool base layers and a decent micro fleece, makes a lot of difference to keeping me warm I found

Just got home; chilled but safe. Lots of layers were worn, it's really my gloves and boots that aren't up to much.

Anyway, tis done! Quite enjoyed it in the end.

I find my "puppy fat" helps the body keep warm.

But I havent got pudgy hands or feet! So they do get cold. Not been on the bike since last thursday, just before the temperature drop.

sorry that a classic scene and to see it in real life would be quite funny, though sadly not for the rider!

To be fair I wasn't well at the time and thought a wee run in sub-zero temps would blow some of the cobwebs out of my head.

Unfortunately it wasn't cobwebs that got blown out.

missing all of the cold weather riding this year, but i dont miss it that much lol
