South meets North(ish)
Ok guys its time for us lazy comfortable southerners to make an effort and explore what the other end of the country has to offer!
Everyone from everywhere welcome of course
....Tel (Oldcat) and I'm sure others are willing to show us some roads in their hole territory so I think a nice day out is called for...
If your like myself unable to get a weekend pass to get involved in the bigger rideouts then lets try and at least get a days ride and put some mileage on the clocks. We shall discuss a meeting point for the southies so we can ride up to where ever it is we are going.... I'm hoping Tel can fill that gap so we at least know where we are heading
We need to roll this out pretty soon so I reckon the first weekend of August Saturday 6th or Sunday 7th suggestions are necessary
May not be able to cater for all but a decent number will make it a blast so please get involved and let me know who is interested and which date you would prefer (the majority vote wins obviously)
Would be great to see old faces and meet some new ones!
Suggestions of meeting place would be appreciated also... depends who in the southern region is interested of course so we can pinpoint a location that is easily accessible to everyone
Many Thanks
Paul

The dates and location look OK to me, the Cafe in the Woods at Ollerton is a good meeting point??
Tentative yes from us two depending on child number 2.

All the best with your 'long distance' day trips, would be too taxing for me (says he having done 2000 miles in a few days)

Lol. I dont think I would be up for a massive long trip as I still havent gotten used to riding properly. Plus, it looks like I most probably wont make the 6/7th weekend, so I will have to tag along on another one.

I'l have you know I am pro-active
....We can make it another weekend as it clashes with the TOL Recce and not many people are in favour of the current dates. The more the merrier!
