South Lincolnshire Ride out & BBQ Sun 8th August 2010

Last August our Local landlord & his good lady (both active Motorcyclists) held a Charity afternoon bikers BBQ with music & we organised a ride out to the pictureque Foxton Locks in the morning.

Nearly £700.00 was raised for the Air ambulance & this year we plan to do it all again on the 8th of August 2010
We will be starting at about 9:30 am for a run of of approx 135 miles round some of the best roads Lincolnshire (& Leicestershire) has to offer.
Start point is the services at PE20 2LG (this is where the A17 crosses the A16)

End point & BBQ venue is The Plough Holbeach st John PE12 8RE

We will return to the pub for the BBQ at around 3.30 pm.
All proffits will go to Charity we expecting this to be a good way to spend a Sunday & raise a few quid for charity.
As it's a Sunday we're thinking the more local bikers may be interested, not expecting too many folks from the ends of the country however any Forum member who wants to join us will be very welcome !

If we can get there, . . . we might even make the whole ride this time

Just so that you guys know, we have arranged with a local small holdings landowner for free camping on his site, tis but a stones throw from the pub and we have got several bookings for the sat and sunday as we speak. Should have thought that by the time of the rideout we should have a decent canvass village up there. very secure bike parking as well.

Just a pity its a Sunday!!
