Hello all its been a few years but with some time on my hands thought I would reintroduce myself names mark if anyone remembers me met up with afew of you in Scarborough when bluezed came over from Germany I sold the cat must be 6ish years ago and went on the R1 bandwagon and still have the same bike.I keep my eyes open for another cat still maintain It is the best all round bike I've ever owned wish the young lad had rang me back who bought mine but its been off the road for a few years now not sure whats happened to it but to have the R1 and cat in the same colour as they were would be great.
hope everyone is well.
cheers mark

Welcome back to the fold Mark. Glad you remembered us.
Not much in the way of meetings & get togethers going on at the moment for obvious (coronavirus) reasons… but I dare say once social distancing and group gathering restrictions relax again the group meets will get back into swing. Keep an eye in the "Something for the Weekend" section.

In the meantime Stay Well Stay Safe
Cheers

Hi Mark, welcome back.

That Scarborough meet was quite soggy, I started my trip up on a Thundercat but met up with Thomas (Bluezed) in a 4 wheeled Honda! Have been on a few ride outs with Thomas in Germany (Austria, Switzerland, Italy ... ).

Just over 5 years ago I sold my 'Cat and as you can see from the avatar got a Tracer in the same colour. I think the bike must be wondering what it's done wrong that I'm not taking it out for 'walkies'.

I'm sure a 'Cat in the right colour will pop up sometime.

Thanks Tel and Steve good to hear from you I think the last time we spoke Steve Croydon was mostly on fire thats how long ago it was, me and yzfjohn were at the same stage of divorce and this site helped to get me through it.I was also just starting a new business which iam pleased to say is still going strong I've got married last September in york although the Thailand honeymoon is on hold at the moment.
also remember meeting yamahamad over near the lakes and going for a blast on some fantastic road with some older gentleman one was from this site the name evades me for now but they were complete lunatics and we could barely keep up.
I will keep one eye on the ride out section so hopefully can meet up with whoever is left for a meeting when this horrible time is over.
stay safe chaps and my new brother in law lives in Norbury Steve which can't be too far from you have to meet for a brew when iam down next.
ps also looked at the great pictures you took at Scarborough which reminded me I must go to the gym all the time now the sands of time have not been kind to me.
cheers mark

Hi & welcome back mark, nice to hear from you after all this time. I remember that day well & was going to say it was terry but you obviously found it.

Glad things are going well for you, i still have the trusty old thundercat but also have a benelli tornado 900 to keep it company in the garage.

When all this lockdown stuff is over it would be good to meet up assuming you are still somewhere around the area?

Hi, all
Thought long and hard about whether or not to respond to the (nutter and lunatic) comments from earlier in this section. We all ride differently and at different speeds on different roads and on an assortment of machines, We also have various degree's of experience. Shortly after passing my test in about 1956/7 I started riding with a bunch of guys who were quite a bit older than me, and were all bloody quick, so I think they must have had lasting influence on me, or maybe not. Over the years I've ridden with lots of different mates and lots of different groups and they have all ridden at a similar pace to myself. As you can see from the above I've been riding for some 63 years or so with hardly a break and estimate that I must have covered in excess of 600.000 miles or so, and apart from a couple of minor offs am accident free. So, in my mind I must be doing something right.

I know you’re a nutter, lunatic and hang about with a bad crowd Terry.
Can’t work out if they are a bad influence on you or you on them.

It’s great to have you as part of the team Wink

Good to see you back too Mark.

Hugs and kisses (virtually of course)

If you mean Elaine's at faisor yes, we were there the other Sunday she made us a brew and bacon butties. If the weather looks favourable give us a ring on Sunday and we'll meet up. Would love to see the Benelli in action.
