New user but old biker
Hi to all
I have a 1996 Thundercat imported from Canada at the moment it has not run for 3 years
I will be starting work on her tomorrow stripping the fuel carbs etc.
I have been a biker for since 1974 some of my bike include :-
Honda CBX Suzuki GS100S Suzuki GS 750 Kawasaki KH 250 400 & 500
Suzuki GT750 kettle recently - Triumph rocket - Z1000SX - NC 750
I am looking forward to getting this old thundercat back on the road
Cheers
Rich

Hi Rich
Welcome to the forum.
Good luck on the strip and re-build.
There's plenty of useful info on here already via the search tool and a few experts too.
Any pictures?
Cheers

Re: New user but old biker
Hi Rich, welcome.
All the best in getting your 'Cat back on the road.
Some similarities with our biking history, starting a year later than you. An AC50 then a RD50, then straight onto the Kettle. When my long distance commutes to college days were over, I thought I'd be sensible and get a new GS400L. Back then I viewed a bike merely as a means of transport. The 'little' twin lasted 3 or 4 months, I'd been bitten by the biking bug and the cure was a GS1000G, that gave way to a Yamaha Turbo. In spite of it possibly being the most unreliable of all the bikes, I kept it for 21 years. Then, like you, a 1996 Thundercat. There were two 'Cats in my life before buying new again, the Tracer turns 5 on Monday!
