Is it time for a Tracer??
First topic message reminder :
I rode back from Cornwall on the Thundercat on Thursday and I must admit I was in agony for a sizeable chunk of the trip. I need a sit up and beg distance bike. I have booked test rides on both a 700 and 900 Tracer GT.
I won't be selling the Thundercat, but it might have (another) friend in the garage soon!

My dealer doesn't want the MV in p/ex, despite only 2800 miles on the clock...too specialist. I might have to trade the Thundercat which would bring a tear to my eye
Did you get a decent offer for the Cat Tony? Be a shame to let it go if you didn't.
Not had the heart to go and ask, at a bit of an impasse...

Re: Is it time for a Tracer??
Been on holiday and had a think
Still want a Tracer GT, don't wan to trade the Thundercat unless I have to
So I will do ToL on the cat and see if it is still literally a pain in the neck
Then as the summer is running down I will leave the fleet in place until next March and get a new GT on the 20 plate change over
I will have been in my new job for a few months by then too (hopefully!)

Yer some man Tony. Sounds like you need more garage space.

I having a new shed base, so I can get a much bigger shed, that should free up some space!

Re: Is it time for a Tracer??
Just picked up my second one.
The first was written off in a RTA in September.
Fortunately I bounce.
Here's the new one I picked up today. Top box rack on already.

Nice bike Rich
I found I bounce well in August too, Glad you are okay and you got a nice new Tracer. Hopefully you don't have to test your bouncing skills on Tracer [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]...

Re: Is it time for a Tracer??
Likewise.
I hope not, I can't afford the stress from the family. Same to you too. And all was well and you've still on 2 wheels.
Insurance is a good thing, so far. The hire bike was a brand new CB1000R.
5 weeks of top of the range nakedness , in autumn.
But only 8 wet days.

Is that a done deal Tony, or just the current favourite?

I have a deposit down on a 2016 R1200RS, just waiting for the weather to calm down and allow me to have a test ride. So 90% of the way there
