Thanks to everyone who made it to Braemar for Big Mac this year.
Back home safe and sound.

About to get the forks off to stop it weeping (replace the seals) and need to treat myself to a new numberplate after I lost mine.

A cracking weekend Ross and thanks for all the organising with such an event.

Roads was brilliant, severe lack of traffic and the company as always is great with the bunch of people we have.

Glad your bike started running fine too towards the end of yesterday but was it ok today with the engine running?

Ian and I finally made it home at about 6.30pm after our northerly detour via Tomintoul, Aviemore and Fort William.  A fun 250 miles in mostly dry weather

Thank you to Ross for organising another great Big Mac and to everyone else for making it yet another memorable and fun ride out, including the members of the Dad's Army that made the trip up.  Sorry that Terry & Bob missed the fun but hope you are both doing ok.

Lesson learned: don't let DBD talk you into drinking a glass of Irish whiskey named after an 80's punk band

The only song I know form that band is the duet with Kirsty McCall, Fairytale of New York and the lead singer was out of his tree, so I can just imagine what that 'in honour' liquor was like

I got home this afternoon, stayed dry till 2.5 miles from home, then just long enough to wet me and then stop!
