Sandblasting and powdercoating services? Empty Sandblasting and powdercoating services?

I've been looking at getting the T'cat frame and all parts re-powdercoated.
So found a place very close to me in Banbury and they have these following prices;
Motor bikes ...

Frame £120

Swing arm £30

Yokes £30 pair

Side stand £15

Centre stand £20

Aluminium wheels £120 pair

Hubs £20

Wheel rims £20 pair

Fork arms £30 pair

Engine brackets and small plates /pieces from £5 each when accompanied with other parts.

v.a.t included..

Do you think these prices are reasonable or is there anyone out there that knows a better place?

Thanks
Ondurin

I think that is a very high price. If they are all going the same colour then it should get cheaper.

I got
2 Cam Covers (orange)
Two front and one rear calipers (5 pieces orange)
Front Brake Reservoir Cap (orange)
2 Radiator support brackets (black)
Top Yoke (black)
Front Fairing Bracket (black)
2 Clipons (black)
2 Bar Ends (black)
8 Cam Cover Bolts (black)

all blasted and powder coated for £60.

My local place charged me £30 to do the rear caliper and torsion bar. They charge £50 per wheel. To be honest I think powder coating is great value and if the price is right for you then go for it
The only thing that doesn't seem to add up with your stuff is how it's only £30 for the swing arm but £35 for the side and main stand? Doesn't seem fair?

I'm going to give them a call and ask them what's with the prices because the side stand is so small compared to a centerstand and swingarm xD

Hopefully this will all be done before the cotswold ride so the T'cat will look the part with fresh paint, the fairings are....well chipped and wrecked and will be sorted out as and when as they are an expensive replacement!

What I tend to do though is just turn up with the stuff and say "how much" you might find you get a better price in person. Wave cash in their face, that tends to work. What it might also help.is finding a small privately run place that will do it for cash in their hand.
