Any Thundercat owners, past or present, will be very welcome to join in for all or part of the run.
And a Happy New Year to all!

Re: Ride 8th Jan
Forecast at the moment is reasonably mild and fairly dry, but it's a week ahead, so that could change completely!
Hopefully it won't be worse than today - I did a recce of part of the route yesterday, so the bike got covered in clag(*), so I've just left it out today to wash itself. Though maybe I'll need to turn it upside down to get the job done properly.
(*) Other descriptions are available, but one wouldn't want to upset the moderators, or those of a nervous disposition.

Very thoughtful of you Bob, still had to look up the word though - I'm not that good with dialectal British English

I went out for a ride yesterday and I see mine is now covered in that stuff too. Hope the weather holds for you and it not too cold.

Yes indeed, it would be nice to see anyone interested in coming along. These are friendly & usually fairly small gatherings, of those who just can't wait for the spring. Thanks to BobH for leading this year's one. I'll be doing some of the back-marking, & maybe playing in the midst a little too, as the fancy takes me.

Re: Ride 8th Jan
To anyone who's coming along - H Café is a bikers' place, so it's probably not much help to say "I'm the old guy with the grey beard" as there may well be quite a few of those around. And no, I'm not going to be wearing a red carnation in my buttonhole (or any other hole, for that matter). So it's probably easier to spot the bikes.
I'm planning to come on my white (well, it is white under the clag, honest) Fazer8, with topbox. MartinF will, I hope, be upholding Diversion honour with his pristine blue Divvy 900.
Weather forecast is still fairly optimistic.

Re: Ride 8th Jan
Well, at least it wasn't icy or too wet, though the roads were all pretty greasy.
A small but select band (including one from Cumbria!) finished the run with the rear ends of all the bikes a uniform dun colour from Cotswold mud. The majority were shaft drive (Divvy 900's and a Guzzi), but unfortunately my Fazer wasn't one of them, so it took a fair bit of cleaning and lubing the day after.
Some photos were taken, but not by me, and I haven't seen any yet - maybe the photographer is waiting for his iPhone photos to come back from developing and printing?

Here's one photo, from a different source, taken at the last stop of the day:
