I like you was hoping an expert would have been along by now.

Did you get to the bottom of it?

It looks like one end is going to the bottom of that large black collector.
Does the dangling bit go to the one on the other side?

I had a look here trying to find the answer but I never managed to find the definitive answer.

http://www.thundercat.nl/index.php/download/category/2-manuals?download=26%3Ayamaha-service-manual

https://www.motorcyclespareparts.eu/yamaha-parts/motorcycles.aspx

Hopefully you get a confirmed answer soon.

Cheers

It doesn't go anywhere, the collector is from the carbs and the pipe is a breather. Sorry for the delay

What's pictured clearly isn't right though.

I have two drain hoses hanging.
The three places I know they originate from (I think) is the airbox, the carbs and the gearbox, but can't recall which two are connected via the T-Pipe... Neutral

I realise now that the wire loop they go through is on the other side of the bike ( slap'ed ), and all that's hanging out of that is the overflow from the expansion bottle and the longer hose hanging down in the picture. Cool

So you're right enough, it goes nowhere...except the other side of the bike. Very Happy
