Just wondering if anyone has tried a h4 l.e.d bulb in their headlight? Not sure if it'd even work? Just found them in auto store and was curious?

Not tried an LED bulb, but a few of us have tried HiD. Possibly the same problems apply to both types. The reflector is designed to work with the Halogen incandescent bulb. The placement of the filaments is very important for the reflector to work properly. Having said that we all know the reflector is pants.
I found using the HiD actually made matters worse, sure there was more light, but it went all over the place and mainly not where it was supposed to be - I ripped mine out and put a Philips brilliance bulb in, think it's the best I can expect.

Yeah i was looking at getting the philips brilliance but 20quid seems a bit expensive for a bulb. Especially when a normal h4 is £4 or £6 for an emergency set that has spare indicator bulbs too lol these led one are only around £5 too. I dont really ride at night so im not that fussed about how it lights the road up its more for a "hey notice me" kinda thing. But obviously road legal and MOT friendly
