Newbie
Hi all - it's taken me about 10 months to find this site but I'm glad I did! Bought an 03 Cat last year with less than 5K on the clock - almost immaculate. Been on her most weekends since and I haven't stopped smiling.
I live in the Guildford area so interested to hear of any other Cat owners out there who might be up for a spin. Pretty sure I saw a group of about 3 or 4 Cats on the A272 recently - you out there ??
Cheers,
Stu.

Re: Newbie
Welcome to the site Stu,
There are a few members down your way, though whether any were the ones you saw is up for grabs.
We've only been here for 7 months (Est Nov 5 2008) since we migrated here when MSN closed their group sites.
Have a good old snoop around this site and the forums. You'll see events and ride outs you will be & are more than welcome to attend.
Infact there is a weekend meeting this Fri/Sat 29&30th at Bishops Castle. Though that's probably way to late for you to up sticks and attend is it ?
Look forward to your input to the forums and hopefully to meeting you sometime on a ride.
Cheers

Re: Newbie
Hi Stu, welcome.
There are a number of 'Cats in these parts. I sometimes land up your way, mainly going to Box Hill or Newlands Corner though, and rarely in a group. Having said that though, will be joining up with some site members at Bishops Castle.
You carry on enjoying your and we may see you on the road some day soon. Oh mines' the black and gray one with Red lettering (not quite like the caricature avatar) .

Re: Newbie
Hi Stu,
Welcome to the site.
We're a friendly bunch here so join in - post up and make a fool of yourself. We've all done it!
If you can make one of the planned events then it's a great way to meet others and, if you've not previously ridden in a group, it's a great way to learn from others.
Enjoy the bike and stay safe.
Chris

Thievers can't be choosers. The Thundercat Artwork comes in one colour, I figured it's close enough, especially seeing mine doesn't have a UK colour scheme. This pic is put on mugs, T-Shirts, clocks and the like. Won't tell you I have been thinking about getting it on a shirt - you might think I'm a sad git :cyclops:
I am not going to mention and T-Shirt in the same sentence again
Sorry Stu for hijacking your welcome post!
