Finally
I know I've been a member of this forum for a while but I'd just like to say hi to everyone as fully fledged motorcyclist.
As of today @ 15:20 I was given a PASS on my MOD 2.
Roll on BC5 can't wait to finally meet everyone in the flesh lol

Re: Finally
Thanks guys, it's definitely a great feeling to have passed. Had the biggest smile all the way home.
Although, having now passed I gotta keep my promise to my boy and give up smoking lol. (one day at a time)
I honestly thought I'd failed though. I thought I missed timed a few lifesavers and I'm sure I forgot 1.
A cager cut me up big time an I thought I didn't see it in time and then right at the end, literally 100yrds away from the test centre I was asked to pull up, and when I was ready, to pull off. I forgot to cancel my left indicator when I stopped to pull off.
In the briefing room the examiner said I was the quickest person to ever get off the bike from a test after such a good ride. I was proper pissed off upset. I almost cried lol
Apparently I did everything as I should've and only fluffed up at the last 100yrds.
After a stressful week I had 1 minor on MOD 1 and 1 minor on MOD 2 and have a certificate to prove lol.
I just wish I took everyone's advice and left the bike alone I can't wait for her to be sorted, Time is a great healer (7-21 days, maybe more if customs get hold of it lol)

Recommend a bike safe course. You'll learn all the stuff they didn't teach you. Take it easy....Every day's a school day.
Cheers

Re: Finally
Big thanks everyone.. don't want to start a new thread so gonna carry on on this one.
Things I've done in preparation for BC....
Fitted new black exhaust, mirrors (thanks Nathan (Cat-man-do), r/h foot peg, replaced only 1 spark plug as I couldn't reach the others to get em out but she seems to be running a lot smoother.
Taken side fairings off and kept all loose bolts and screws safe.
Cleaned and lubed chain
Pumped up tyres
Ordered R+G bungs, these should be here saturday
Ordered fairing kit, should be here about 16th May. This is it
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370778770672?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
Ordered a new rear tyre
Enjoyed my first LEGAL ride this morning since passing my mods, only went about 5 miles around the block though as she died on me on an overtake, absolutely shite myself, got her bumped while still rolling and she went like a bat out of hell, I presume the carbs were bunged up as it hasn't happened since oh and I changed a plug
Went out later this evening and she felt a bit skittish on the rear, either I'm paranoid of coming off her again or she's not aligned right. A new rear tyre is on order anyway as it's getting quite bald now, so that should make a huge difference.
Saw bigwan600 (steve) so pulled over for a chat and there was oil everywhere, took her home carefully, cleeaned all the shite off my peg, link pipe and engine. She's now cleaned and covered over for the night. I've placed cardboard under her to find where the leak is.
Do you think where she's been dropped the oil has gone into an overflow pipe (if there is one)and is now coming out that way? as I can't see any cracks
