Disappointing end to 2 Days riding.
Just when everything was going well.
Had 2 days of fun on the bike only to get home and find a leak. The cause was me, the route I had used to run the new braided hoses turned out not to be a wise one and the steering stop had been pinching one of them. Could have been worse I suppose, at least the brakes didn't to fail till I was home.
Now if I am to make WeeMac I have got to source and fit replacements before Friday. The last set took 2 weeks to arrive.

Re: Disappointing end to 2 Days riding.
Just had an interest text (you'll like this Tel) a dealing in Peterborough (bike and trikes) make to measure so going to take the Goodridge off and go visit them in the morning. Price will be the swaying point.
Was enjoying my 2 days before that and the battery was behaving itself. Was out with a fellow on a b-king today and the bike was holding its own against his progressive pace. I think I'm grinning on reflection.

Re: Disappointing end to 2 Days riding.
A. Since the damage is not a warranty issue (therefore no returns or exchange), does it have to be HG ?
B. Do you live in outer Mongolia ?
C. If answer to B (above) is "yes" yer stuffed.
D. If answer to B (above) is no, improvise adapt and overcome. i.e. car, bus, walk to supplier, or call (use of phone recomended), and arrange courier or next day delivery.
E. If all of above fail, deploy use of mates and favours app.

Re: Disappointing end to 2 Days riding.
No not a warranty issue Tel. Where suppliers are concerned in Peterborough Heine Gerick was the only independent all others are dealers and so usually not the best price.
Bikes and Trikes are the best of them albeit small so will be seeing them in the morning. I'm sure I can sort a deal out with them.

I have done in most gears and hit the limiter a few times (especially today) but that is bloody scary in 1st and 2nd as it likes to flip the front up a little to easy.
Looking forward to Waddington.
Got to buy a new chain as well as the numpty who fitted it did the link to tight.

Abi helped me do that yesterday. Just need a test ride.
Took the tank, air filter etc off to check spark plugs, damn the plugs are hard to get to let alone get out.
Got one out eventually and it looked perfect so didn't bother with the rest.
Spent the next hour trying to improve the chain but with the badly done link it's always going to be bad.
Levers - Abi's hidden them away, it's going to be frustrating not being able to fit them till my birthday.

Re: Disappointing end to 2 Days riding.
Where are the adjusters off the levers John? Look very nice though, similar to mine (with red adjusters), look like Titax or Pazzos, don't you just love when you get told (or shown) a pressie but you can't have it!! Thankfully the track day I was told about in December is now only a month away!!
Glad you're getting it sorted anyway mate, can't wait to see the beast

Yes she is 12 soon to be 13.
I must say she is good at saving when she wants something, but you know how it works Ellie (and they were only £56 for the set).
