hello everyone, im prime.

Hi everyone, im prime and im in the process of buying my first big bike, a 2000 tcat. been riding for years 125's mainly, bike and scoots ,most recently a 100cc 2stroke scoot, so its a big upgrade for me. cant wait til i get it, ive coveted thundercats since they were released and remember exactly where i saw my first one in 1996.

I too cast an eye on the the Thundercat when it was launched. At the time I had an ageing Yammy 650 turbo and figured the 'Cat was the best upgrade to the 'new' generation bikes, so much so I had a silver and yellow 'Cat pic as wallpaper on my work computer in '96/'97. A new bike then just wasn't on the 'domestic' radar, wife hated them.

When I decided that I wanted to get a bike in the UK, there was only one choice in my selection criteria. Was just a simple case of which one, lost a bid on a great looking Black and Gun bike on fleabay, but the highest bidder vanished, so it was mine after all That bike is still going strong, no longer mine but is still on the site, it's done around 100 000 miles - great bikes.

I hope you realise your dream soon, I'm am almost certain you won't be disappointed.

Hello mate, thanks for your welcome. The first one I saw was the yelllow and silver colour, at a mcdonalds in oldham. I still cant believe im getting one to be honest its like all my christmas's at once. Ill get pics up when I do.

Hi there prime and welcome to the site. Mr Nutt is right I'm an Oldhamer myself, where abouts in Oldham are you? I know the cat you are talking about, it belonged to a mate of mine, well at least it did until some scrote pinched it and wrote it off.

Excellent choice of bike, a big step up from the 125's, but a great one! The cat was also my first bike, you'll love every second of it!
