Hello from leeds -
Hi everyone!
Passed my DASI in August and chose a pristine red '99 Thundercat after recommendation from a friend...
Loving it
Came with a Remus exhaust and blue iridium double bouble screen from previous owner,
I now seem to be spending all my money on more "cosmetic" improvements
Joined the site to meet like minded bike owners, learn from the wiser ones and hopefully attend a ride or two
Cheers!
Current "Mods":
*Remus end-can and pipe
*Blue iridium double-bubble screen
*Blue anodised full-length levers
*Blue anodised brake cylinder cap with Yamaha logo
*Carbon fibre look tank protector
*Carbon fibre look mirrors (soon to be swapped for integrated LED signal mirrors)
*Carbon fibre look yoke protector
*NCS Cyclone V2 Alarm/immobiliser with remote start
Planned additions:
#Solo seat racing cowl
#Blue Moman Indiglo instrument dials
#LED integrated mirrors
#Tail tidy
#Stubby LED rear indicators
#Gear ratio (-1 front, +2 back)

Re: Hello from leeds -
Hi and welcome to the forum, plenty of advice to be had on here from old heads and new, have a good look around and if you have any questions don't be afraid to ask, we're a pretty friendly bunch.
As for ride outs you're only up the road from me and we have a lot of forum events going on throughout the year. Have a peek in Something for the weekend and see what grabs you.

Welcome to the forum,
Smart looking bike you got there . . . love the username
Old heads you'll find in here a plenty , whether they're wise or not is for you to decide
Be good to see you on one of the ride outs if you can get to any of them

Re: Hello from leeds -
Cheers everyone,
what a friendly bunch we are
Snowcat im originally from Littleborough but have settled in leeds after uni (get a lot of gripe at work for being from Lancashire)
I will get some photos on soon, i have parts on order for my replacement dials, a 12v power socket, and both replacement rear brake and gear levers etc so I will probably do it all together and take some good before and afters...
And I will definitely by up for ride outs when the weather improves, i will check out the forum proper and see whats on
Moff t'clean my bike...ta ta for now
