Hi all.

My name is Tom & I am from south essex. I have recently become the proud owner of a 1998 thundercat in Black/Silver/Yellow trim. She is bog standered apart from a Delkevic race can with removable baffle (I also have the origonal) & sintered brake pads.
I have been back into biking for about 3 years & wanted to move up from my Bandit (which I still have). I use my :yzf: for my commute to work & for the odd fun blast through the twisties. I am absolutly loving it while at the same time still getting used to the amount of power/braking & handling that I now have.
Only scared myslef once when I grabed a handfull of front anchor & stopped so quickly that my eyeballs where squashed on the inside of my visor.
I hope to be chatting some more with you guys soon.

Hi Tom

Welcome to the site.
My first bike was a Bandit too. Had my 2nd bike, also a 1998 Thundercat for nearly 6 years now and still lovin it.

Never mind getting your eyeballs crushed inside your visor it's when you crush the other ones at the tank and then your eye-balls really will hit the inside of your visor Shocked affraid

Enjoy
