2003 Vauxhall Vectra 2.2 CDTI - Needs some attention - £1000 ONO

I am selling a 2003 Vauxhall Vectra 2.2 CDTI.

* Mileage: Just over 100k
* MOT'd for 1 Year
* No Tax

The automatic transmission is failing and I have been quoted £300 for a second-hand transmission and my guess is that it will cost another £200 quid to have it fitted. I personally cannot afford nor do I have the time to mess around with this. I have loved this car and while it has been with me, I have done my best to look after it. Comes with a FULL SERVICE HISTORY! Mileage is still LOW for a diesel and the engine runs sweet. Were it not for the gearbox issue, the car would be worth £1800 or so.

However, since I dont have the time nor the finances to fix it. I am letting it go for £1000 ono. There is a DEFINATE BARGAIN here to be had.

Car gets somewhere in the region of 46-52 MPG and flys.

Price drop now to £850. It is still driveable by the way, but the transmission needs sorting soon. Once done it will be a great workhorse! I dont want to drop the price so low but needs must.

Is there anyone who knows a mechanic looking for a great bargain fixer-upper? If it werent for the work involved and the £600 price tag to get it sorted I would be keeping it.

£800 I cant go lower otherwise I wont be able to afford another car.
