Hi,

Although I've been following the forum during the last year, I've never presentated myself. So here I am Smile

My name is Alberto. I'm a rider from Spain, a happy owner of a '98 Thundercat with more than 44.000 miles nowadays. Previously I've ridden an 1995 XJ600 also from Yamaha, and a Honda CBR 600F.

From original bike, I've changed the exhaust (carbon-made racing one, more delicious sound), the headlight lamp to Xenon one to improve lighting (as everyone is doing with this bike, I guess), the rear-stop lights to LEDs (ebay germany), the original turn indicators to smaller, racing, led-based ones (better visibility). Ah, also changed the original mirrors to the ones from Suzuki GSXR 2005 (fits very good and looks better, with better rear field, and a bit higher position to avoid better the car's mirrors).

When have a little spare time, I will post some photos of the motorbike. Ah, it's the gray-silver + yellow one.

So, here I am. Will post some questions in another thread.

Regards

Hi Alberto, welcome. Was your XJ the turbo or the normal aspirated bike? My previous one was the XJ turbo.

All the best

Hi Alberto and welcome to the site.

Jealous of the nicee weather you get there pretty much all the time.

Heading your way in May (Santander) and then ....... ???

Any suggestions of roads that MUST be ridden, places that MUST be visited?

Cheers
