Well... we're coming by car so as long as the meet is somewhere reachable by car I can get there Very Happy

We're actually staying at the Haven Primrose Valley site near Filey and the in-laws live in Brompton-by-Sawdon. So all around Scarborough really...

Don't have any plans yet for that Sunday so looking good left thumb up

I'm sorry, but I've looked at the distance (total), and I'll just not make it at the momment Crying or Very sad . Those that saw me at BC will know :(
That and I'll be doing some volunteering for the RBLR over the Jubilee weekend too and don't want to wreck myself for that.

Please pass my very best on to Thomas and the family Thumb

Chris,

Got the preliminary nod. Will decide whether to meet at Humber Bridge or Seeways before weekend.

Fingers crossed for good weather.

Weather is looking cloudy, dry, 11 degrees. So not as warm as BC! Possibility of occasional shower later on. Slightly warmer inland.

Think a run over to Helmsley might be worth considering in the afternoon.

What sort of timings are we looking at? Does sound tempting but might make it a bit late for me.

I might go Helmsley way to the A1 Crying or Very sad (get the job done to be home asap). Is the road from Scarborough through Pickering OK, or have I missed the good bits to and from Whitby?

Panzerbuilder - we'll see you near the cafe

kwakkat - sorry you can't make it. Hope you have fun today!

SteveCat - the best bits are to and from Whitby. Looking at the forecast it might be sunny in Whitby, but I appreciate your need to get back home. Helmsley down Sutton Bank to A19 and A1 would be the quickest route. We can decide all this on the day depending on weather and timings?

Thanks Chris.

I think it will be wet gear for the return leg for me. If the forecast is to be believed I can expect a few hours of a free bike wash, but I am suspicious of freebies and suspect I may have to wash the bike when I get home Wink
