Well sorry to say in hospital. Last tuesday on the way to work a nuce ladie pulled out infront of me needless to say i lost. 3broken vertabre in my back cracked damaged ribs. I remember very little of the accident itself just woke up looking into a sexy paramedics eyes. I now have a full body harness to wear while the back bones heal. The bike si i have been told is a write off. But i am yet to see it

Bike can be fixed or written off . . . tis but a machine and easily replaced . . . You and body parts can not.

Oh no not another one to join the many with incidents this year. Lets hope for a year of less accidents in 2012.

Glad you are not worse mate although it sounds bad enough.

Keep us informed of youre recovery & hope you can find a suitable replacement bike as & when you want to.

Really sorry to hear that you're injured, hope that you have decent pain relief and that your healing all goes quickly and well. Take it easy.... as others have said, bikes, whilst our pride and joy, can be fixed or replaced..... as long as you are recovering, that's the main thing Thumb

Unfortunately, this seems to happen all too often, someone blind

pulls out and those of us on bikes are the victims. Glad you at least got a chance to gaze at a sexy paramedic. Get well soon nurse

just wish they would look and look again - hence why I have a THINK BIKE sticker on me car - hope that some people actually look at it and take heed!!!!

At the mo still in bath hospital. I have Huge brace to wear while my spine mends. Biggest issue i have aT the moment is i need a poo and cant go which is adding fo my pains and woes. Hopefully be walking wounded by thursday. Thanks for all the concern. 3 broken vertebre broken ribs badly bruised neck. Sorry to hear this, and do hope you're on the mend quickly.

You don't realise things we take for granted become major stumbling blocks, hope you are able to adjust asap. Can be extremely frustrating, hang in there.
I wouldn't worry about trying to figure out what happened, although I guess it'll re-run through your mind quite often. It took months for parts to unlock for me, it did eventually.

In hindsight i should of stayed in bed. Due to injuries sustained a proper back protector prod would of helped. At present i am xonfined tobed this hard and painfull especially by 0100. Managed to get the nurses to prop me on my side during the night this helped me sleep until 9. Pure heavan. Hoping to be out next week with my brace. Get home for xmas. It going to be a veey long time until i am back riding again say april time. As for what to get i have mags herethat are putting idea in my head
