get well soon nige

For those of you that know Nige (and those of you that don't, come to it!) He had an off yesterday, apparently his gear did the job and is wrecked - he is hospital for a week on bed rest (some problem with kidneys) but should be up and at the pies again soon.

Glad he wasn't more badly hurt

Just had a text from Jill, Nige is a bit bruised & staying in hospital for the week to keep an eye on his kidneys but is on the mend thankfully.

Hi all , I am very pleased to be home today from Hospital.
I would like to sincerely thank everyone for there best wishes, whether sent by forum, facebook, txt, email or Card or whatever.
I must also thank Chris for the fantastic pie! the only one I had in over a week :whoop:

I feel well bruised still & weak + a little dizzy but fantastically better than one week ago, Doctors have signed me off for two weeks & have to go for a CT scan in a month to check on the left Kidney.

I am doubtless very lucky, as I lost it on a left hander I slid across the oncoming lane & the guy in the car braked & swerved & managed to miss me!

One more thing If someone has & off & ambulance comes, make them go with it & get checked out.
I felt fine at the seen & sent mine away (Like the stupid person I am)- only to be driven to A&E 3 hours later in agony with a damaged Kidney.

Hoping to see some of you before too long

I can't agree more. I refused having one called, the heroic idiot I am, in hindsight not very clever at all.

If it is a) unknown b) incriminating or c) too embarrassing then you can keep it to yourself (and offline) for now.

Not looking for a "Radar" epic ( if Carlsberg did epics ) but just curious to know.
