Hi, I was gonna do my das, but that has been scrapped out of the window and I'm now doing an a2 licence. Just wondered if anyone knows of a restrictor kit going that I could buy for my cat? Or where to get one fitted???
I'm new to all this stuff scratch
Thanks

Anna

Ebay is your best bet. One on there at the moment

I bought one off ebay for my Diversion for £25, never used it and then sold it on again and it went for £60. Far as I could make out at the time you dont need all the certificate Ballards that you read about online just get it fitted and get a receipt for the work - I was quoted £35 to fit by mechanic. Porbably easy enough to fit yourself but you dont get a receipt for the work that way.

Someone more knowledgable than me may correct me but thats how I was directed when I was asking.

great

This has been debated loads on here but I would contact my insurance/the police and ask them what the official line is so it doesn't void your insurance.

ditto Ellie's comment - whilst a plod may not know if he stopped you if something happens and insurance gets involved first thing they'll do is send someone to inspect the bike and they don't like paying money out if they don't have to

It may have cost me best part of £200 to get it fitted but I could sleep at night green smile
