Flip-Flops
Pillion spotted at Wragby (Lincs) with only flip-flops on, jeans, t-shirt and no gloves.
Wonder if she got home with her skin intact or if shes having plastic surgery as we speak??

Re: Flip-Flops
I blame the rider and not the pillion passenger. Could be possible that the pillion is an absolute *%^$#(& idiot and just did not know any better. However, the person taking the passenger should have his licence revoked. Its people like that who ruin the way that bikers are perceived, just like you get people on bikes riding up the behind of cars specifically to intimidate.

flip, flip, flip, flip...

Re: Flip-Flops
The worst one's I am coming across is the 'L' plate young ones on the 50-125, they always seem to wear jeans (plainly not Kevlar) and they are all over the road and just push through traffic amongst numerous other worrying habbits - makes me cringe whether they will live long enough to see their next birthday.
Flip, Flop - take it the rider wasn't just taking a manakin home? LOL.

Re: Flip-Flops
I saw 4 riders each with T-Shirt and shorts in a roundabout behind me. Didn't worry about checking the footwear, enough damage would have been done irrespective what they were wearing. They hadn't wasted any money on gloves either.
I was pleased to see they took another exit, but I couldn't help but wonder just how much money the NHS would have to have spent fixing any of them up if they did have an unfortunate.
'fraid they're out everywhere.

Re: Flip-Flops
I had some tit lose the rag with me in a Range Rover in between Arden and Cameron House (south side of Loch Lomond) because I was filtering.
He actually undertook me on the grass on a clear bit of road and then tried to squeeze me into oncoming traffic.
After that incident I had the notion that keeping a big wheel nut off a lorry tucked on top of the dials might come in handy in such situations.
If it ever happened again, I could flick it over my shoulder and crack their windscreen.
"It kicked up off the road from the car in front officer!"

Re: Flip-Flops
Back a few years when I was a hot headed teenager was riding long distance to college on a National Road (bit like a major single lane A road here).
A Jaguar driver kept trying to run me off the road, overtake then fly off into the sunset, stop on the side of the road wait for me to pass and then have another go.
Very quickly I tired of his game, stopped and removed the chain which I had wrapped around the Suz GT750's (Kettle) sissy bar and put over my jacket. Next attempt at trying to knock me off was met with me going through the motion of removing the chain and making as if I was going to put it through his windscreen.
Never saw him again

What a bunch of testosterone-fuelled hot heads men are LOL,
Anyone pi55e5 me off and I smile sweetly and ride off without a single expletive or hand gesture, but I ride with a warning

It's funny that , whenever the M4 get a bit clogged up -on the way into work, and I have to do a bit of filtering -I always find it's the 4x4s that try and narrow the gap so that I can't get through - most of the time I finds cars actually move over and give me a bit more room. Oh and I find the London based Private Hire Drivers right w***ers they seem to resent me from getting on my way...

Might be a market in London for an extra back light that flashes "F*ck You!" rapidly on and off.
Re: Flip-Flops
lol , I also have problems with Porche owners , they normally occupy the outside lane , and when I come up behind them ,instead of moving over they always try and accelerate away from me , which of course never works , and they normally lose thier bottle around 120mph+ and then they move over - and I never really wanted to go that fast to begin with
