smokey

Hi everyone. i have another question i would like some help with if poss. i have just had the sump helicoiled. i put it back on with a new gasket, and new gaskets for the exhaust. new studs too which i dont think are right as they are not as long as the old ones. filled it with oil and coolant and started it up. white smoke is now coming out of one of the headers! the temp on the bike doesnt move but i darent let it run too long incase it is serious. only working out of a haynes manual so limited knowledge as you've prob already guessed. still, we have to learn somehow dont we. someone said it may be the gaskets themselves?? any help would be great so thanks. im on the isle of wight if anyone fancies popping in! haha (half serious)
