Hmm. For me the tilda's look like they shouldn't be there. They extend off the White page too.
Can we sell to Ellie and put it back the way it was?

Top Tinkerer Tel.
TBH - I probably didn't notice the "short line _________________ " because it blended in just nice.

IMHO - The Tilda's and all the ones above all look yuk.

I'd vote for nothing (which will allow people to put tilda's in if they want Rolling Eyes or something of their own choosing) or back with the short line as it was.

If the tilda's stay I'm editing my signature to disown myself from them. grumpy old

The only place Tilda should be is in my curry.

ps. Just found out the character's name is actually a tilde not tilda. Tilde in mathematics means approximately so I guess I was ~ correct with Tilda wall

Tel, you're always tinkering. Stuff keeps appearing, disappearing, changing.... I don't mind - at least I know someone's taking care of us all Laughing

Yes I have seen the quick reply box at the bottom of posts. TBH I haven't used it as I'm happy with using the Post Reply and Quote buttons. Personally I'd prefer not to have it. That said one evening a very funky naughty new post editor made a fleeting appearance that allowed emoticons to be inserted at the cursor - which was great! Can that be made permanent?

Keep up the good work.

Ahhh, maybe it was the gremlins What a Face

I'm sure you would have remembered it. I have nothing other than my memory of a page that was much better than the normal posting page. I did make reference to it in the post I made using said page.

I do wonder sometimes if phpBB occasionally serve pages that are not from the current version - deliberately or not! If you don't mind I'll have a quick butchers and see if I can see anything new. Won't make changes without discussing first salute

The only problem I've found is trying to post a pic on the quick reply is impossible as the photo box covers the preview/send bit. If that makes sense.

No . . . . er . . . sorry it doesn't. Is that on yer phone or PC/Laptop/Note Book ? Genuine question. I'm quite surprised to hear that.

Is anyone else getting this ? If so . . . I'm sorry and if it's a pain or to much of a bother I'll take the quick reply off if it gets to many negative reports.
That's not a bad thing. My / our aim is to have the type of site / forum the members want to use, and if something isn't liked or wanted in the main, then it's pointless it being there. great
