Post  badger Tue Jun 29 2010, 20:04

So i took my lovely new (to me) 'cat to work today. Only had it a week and third time out on it. Stopped at a roundabout and got hit from behind. Bike on floor, me on floor. Managed to get it home but now in process of sorting out insurance claim. and my foot hurts. Still, could have been worse i suppose.

Oh no, that's terrible! :(

Sorry it's happened and I hope you don't get any more grief from the other party or the insurers.
Hope the foot gets better soon - you have had it checked out, haven't you?

Can only be put down to experience. Hope it doesn't put you off.

All the best,
Chris

Gutted for you Badger......Really sorry to hear about that.

Hope the healing / mend / repair / insurance goes as smoothly and quickly as possible.
No matter how good a rider you are it is hard to avoid 'MR or MRS shouldn't really be driving' drivers when they sneak up on you like that.

There are a few folks on here who have been in that or similar situation and also some folks who work in insurance so I'm confident you can get sound advice and support on here.

Keep us up to date
